Millinery Workshop
2 days: Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th of March 2012.
Suitable for beginners, sewing skills required.
Price €150. €50 deposit required on booking.
Included in this price is a free keepsake Hatbox on completion of workshop. Materials can be provided for approximately €15 extra, but this depends on the amount of fabric and trims that you require.
Class Size - 6 max.
There must be a minimum of 3 people for the workshop to take place.
The workshop will include:
• An introduction to Millinery, and the fabrics and tools required.
• Learn how to cut and curl feathers for trimming, and how to manipulate others trims for a unique finish.
• Learn how to block a small base for your Headpiece/Fascinator.
• Learn how to use veiling to create a vintage look.
• If you have time you can make another piece based on a comb or band.
Other Details
The workshop will take place in my private studio at my home in Ballinakill, Co. Laois.
There is plenty of parking. We will have tea/coffee breaks, but you may want to bring your lunch, as the nearest cafe is in Abbeyleix (6km drive).

Racing at Leopardstown Christmas 2011

If you plan to order don’t forget to bring your coat/outfit to correctly match or complement your outfit.
You can select a suitable style from the range, then I will help to select the correct colour and trims. Each piece is unique to you. All Hats are designed and Handmade to suit your personal style. Prices range from €145 to €375.
